The Orientation Programme–2026 for newly admitted students was successfully held at the Nursing Unit of Monno Medical College, welcoming the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery 14th Batch and BSc in Nursing 10th Batch (Session 2025–2026).
A total of 60 students were enrolled in the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery program, while 40 students joined the BSc in Nursing program this academic session.
The program was graced by distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Borhan Uddin Ahmed, vice principal and academic coordinator of Monno Medical College; Brigadier General Dr. Zulfikar Ahmed Amin (Retd.), director of Monno Medical College Hospital; and principal and head of the nursing unit Ms. Belatun Nesa, along with all faculty members of the nursing unit and officials from the nursing principal’s office.
Although the Chairman of Monno Medical College, Hospital, and Nursing Unit, the Honorable Minister and Member of Parliament Afroza Khanam, could not attend the program due to urgent state responsibilities, she conveyed her warm greetings and best wishes to the newly admitted students through the vice principal.
During the program, important guidance was provided to the students regarding academic regulations, discipline, professional responsibilities, and institutional facilities to ensure a smooth academic journey.
At the conclusion of the event, the distinguished guests extended their best wishes for the bright future of the new students and encouraged them to develop into skilled, compassionate, and ideal nurses dedicated to serving humanity.
