The program began at 09:00 AM with a synchronized online orientation program for all MBBS students of Session 2025–2026 across Bangladesh, conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare via the Zoom platform. At 10:30 AM, the main orientation program of Monno Medical College commenced at Gallery-1 for the students of the Monno-15 batch. This year, 47 Bangladeshi and 37 international students were admitted out of 85 seats.
The event was attended by the principal, vice principal, hospital director, faculty members from all departments, administrative officials, guardians, and newly admitted students.
Students were warmly welcomed with flowers and gifts, followed by an institutional introduction through a multimedia presentation, an oath-taking ceremony, a cake-cutting ceremony, and refreshments. Students and guardians also shared their reflections.
The program concluded with the “One Student, One Tree” plantation campaign at the college’s central field, where each student planted a tree.
The principal, Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Karim, and the vice principal, Professor Dr. Borhan Uddin Ahmed, delivered the closing remarks and best wishes.
