As part of its ongoing Dengue and Chikungunya prevention activities, Monno Medical College conducted a cleanliness and mosquito control campaign on September 12, 2026, across the college campus.
The campaign focused on maintaining a clean environment, removing stagnant water and eliminating potential mosquito breeding sites. Necessary preventive measures were also taken to control mosquito breeding within the campus.
The campaign was attended by Principal Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Karim, Vice-Principal Prof. Dr. Borhan Uddin Ahmed, Phase-3 Coordinator and Head of the Department of Pathology Prof. Dr. A. S. M. Mahmudul Hasan, Chairman of the Medical Education Unit (MEU) Prof. Dr. Md. Bazlul Karim Chowdhury, Head of the Department of Biochemistry Prof. Dr. A. B. M. Maqsudul Haque, Head of the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health, along with heads of various departments, teachers, doctors, officers, staff, and students.
The initiative emphasized collective responsibility and regular cleanliness as essential measures for preventing Dengue and Chikungunya.
